GradeOne Group and UAVOS Partner Companies to Debut Autonomous Aircraft Technology and Global Security Solutions at UMEX
February 22, 2022 - UAVOS Inc. together with MP3 International, a Grade One Group member company, are presenting a number of products for the UMEX Unmanned Systems Exhibition and Conference to be held February 20 - 23 at the National Exhibition Center, Abu Dhabi. UAVOS and MP3 are located in Hall 5, Booth No. A-12 and will be showcasing their key security and defense products with a focus on their command and control integration expertise.
UAVOS and MP3 are showcasing their comprehensive operational solutions – unmanned systems for a wide range of uses in the air, sea, and land:
1. The converted UVH-500 UAV, which is based on a piloted Heli-Sport Italian CH7 helicopter. The UVH-500 UAS is a long - range, heavy - lift unmanned helicopter capable of carrying up to 160 kg with a range of up to 840 km. The unmanned helicopter is designed for heavy-lift operations in remote and hard-to reach areas.
The ApusDuo unmanned platform can act like a satellite in providing a telecommunications network in remote places, Earth observation services over long periods of time without interruption.
"We believe that remote locations and austere environments can impede delivery of critical parts or supplies in theater and make collecting information for situational awareness on missions difficult or, at times, impossible", said Aliaksei Stratsilatau, UAVOS chief executive officer. UAVOS' UVH-500 VTOL is capable of removing these limitations thanks to runway independence, a small operational footprint and, on some platforms, the ability to carry cargo and sensors simultaneously. The converted UVH-500 can also be featured with a cradle block for aeromedical evacuation".
2. Jet, high speed unmanned target – ARROW 3, tactical drone and testbed for tactical unmanned capabilities. High performance jet powered unmanned aerial drone system is capable of carrying a load of up to 50 kg. The drone has a range of up to 520 km and can travel at a speed of 520 km per hour at an altitude of 8500 m. Other capabilities of the Arrow 3 UAV include advanced UAVOS’ autopilot system, the ability to operate in GNSS jamming and resist electronic warfare.
Designed as a target unmanned system it has a high speed, range, maneuverability, and endurance, increased payload capabilities. Rail launched and parachute recovered (runway independent), Arrow 3 drone target system is designed to be reused for 20 missions.
3. Anti-drone Laser System. UAVOS' Counter Unmanned Aircraft System offers precise drone detection and tracking performance with an Electro-Optic system. Besides its detection and tracking capability, UAVOS' system allows laser neutralization of drones. UAVOS' anti-drone advanced technology allows it to effectively destroy UAVs at a distance up to 500 m, while the optical devices can be disabled at a distance of up to 3 km. The system has already proven itself by burning ground objects at distances up to 1 km.
When UAVOS' heavy-duty precision Pan Tilt Platform system identifies a threat, it allocates the target to the laser, locks onto the target, tracks it, and carries out a kill with its unique, integrated laser technology. Optionally, it is possible to connect an all-round radar to detect small targets at distances up to 4 km.
Providing all-weather 360-degree rapid defense against hostile drones, the anti drone laser system has up to 10.6 mic wavelength with its efficiency of 20%. Additionally, advanced laser system' capabilities allow it to neutralize the target with minimal environmental damage. Unlike rocket weapons as well as small arms, it doesn't create physical objects that can damage infrastructure and people.
The system’s efficiency across military and civil applications offers advanced protection for maneuvering forces, sensitive facilities, border protection, as well as increasingly vulnerable civilian targets like airports and other public facilities.
"Through partnerships with the MP3 company we can build on a ‘better together’ approach to jointly develop technologies that will further the future autonomous aircraft while driving innovative research",- comments Aliaksei Stratsilatau.
Ratko Bozic, Director of Business Development, Grade One Group said: "We are very happy that we are able to join forces with our partner company UAVOS and continue providing to the UAE Armed Forces with the latest technologies in unmanned sector and on that way contibute to the safety and peace in the GCC."
